The International Serrada Eskrima Society was created in 1993 to honor GM Angel’s lifetime work and dedication to the Filipino Martial Arts. Cabales Serrada Escrima was created by Grandmaster Angel Cabales, who brought his knowledge & skill from the Philippines. This dynamic Filipino Martial Art system dominates the “in-close” range of fighting. Serrada is a weapon based martial art and is explosive with empty-hand defense.
Grandmaster Angel spent his life developing and teaching his art worldwide. Only a few have received certificates to teach his dynamic and powerful fighting art. Honor, integrity and tradition can be found in every class, seminar & workshop presented by ISES. Guro Michael G. Davis and Prof. Madeline maintain the traditional Serrada teachings. ISES students are guaranteed straight Serrada technique, concept & theory from a lineage of the 1st generation instructors.
